ECOHOTELPROJECTS is an accredited body of LUSH, the international association of reference for Luxury Sustainable Hotels. Accreditation demonstrates to the hospitality industry that certification bodies are technically competent to audit and certify activity in accordance with the requirements of national and international LUSH standards and regulations.

The LUSH aims to elevate the capabilities of the international hotel industry to achieve sustainable development with a specific focus on localizing the UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. LUSH team has led numerous successful campaigns, events and trainings that have brought about real change.

LUSH Certification is a worldwide sustainability system based on internationally accepted criteria for sustainable hotel operation and management of travel and tourism companies. It operates under a worldwide license, LUSH is based in Playa Del Carmen, Mexican Caribbean, and is represented in over 26 countries.

The activities of the LUSH association revolve around the following main themes:

The Luxury Sustainable Hotels International Association (LUSH) is an independent organization, playing the critical role of establishing and managing global standards for luxury sustainable tourism - known as the LUSH Criteria - and fulfilling key responsibilities and needs towards the environment and local commuities.
